Job Description

CoStar Group is a leading global provider of commercial and residential real estate information, analytics, and online marketplaces, and 3D digital twin technology. Included in the S&P 500 Index and the NASDAQ 100, CoStar Group is on a mission to digitize the world’s real estate, empowering all people to discover properties, insights and connections that improve their businesses and lives.

We have been living and breathing the world of real estate information and online marketplaces for over 35 years, giving us the perspective to create truly unique and valuable offerings to our customers. We’ve continually refined, transformed, and perfected our approach to our business, creating a language that has become standard in our industry, for our customers, and even our competitors. We continue that effort today and are always working to improve and drive innovation. This is how we deliver for our customers, our employees, and investors. By equipping the brightest minds with the best resources available, we provide an invaluable edge in real estate.

About LoopNet:

With over 86,000 companies searching daily and six times more traffic than our nearest competitor, LoopNet has offered unmatched visibility for commercial real estate listings for over 30 years.

The LoopNet platform connects brokers, buyers, and sellers, equipping them with powerful tools to close deals efficiently, whether for sale or lease, or at auction using LoopNet Auctions by Ten-X.

We have established ourselves as the #1 global commercial real estate marketplace – and we aren’t done yet. We are focused on expansion, increasing our market share in the U.S. and around the world, continuously innovating and growing a powerhouse team to reach our goals.

At LoopNet, we’re on a mission to fill the world’s commercial space—because full space means thriving businesses, growing communities, and dreams coming to fruition. In these spaces, careers are built, milestones are reached, and potential is unlocked.

About the Role:

We are hiring a Product Director to lead the searcher side of the LoopNet experience — everything a tenant, buyer, or investor touches from the moment they land on LoopNet to the moment they find the right space. This role owns product strategy and execution across the Homepage & User Accounts, Search Results Page, and Listing Details Page teams, managing two Product Managers and partnering closely with design and engineering leadership. You will work alongside our Senior Product Director, Lister Experience, who owns the broker/owner side of the marketplace, to ensure a coherent experience end to end.

This position is located in Arlington, VA and is in office Monday through Friday.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own product strategy and roadmap for the end-to-end searcher experience: homepage, search results, and listing details.

  • Lead and manage two Product Managers, setting priorities and sequencing work across the Homepage & User Accounts, Search Results Page, and Listing Details Page teams.

  • Partner with the Senior Product Director, Lister Experience, to ensure a consistent, coherent experience for both sides of the marketplace.

  • Define and drive the vision for bringing AI into the search and discovery experience, including conversational search and personalization.

  • Set and track product KPIs for search relevance, engagement, and conversion across the searcher journey.

  • Partner with design and engineering leadership to resolve cross-team tradeoffs and ensure a consistent experience across surfaces.

  • Represent the searcher experience in cross-functional planning with marketing, sales, and analytics.

  • Coach and develop the Product Managers on your team, building their product judgment and execution rigor.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited, not-for-profit, in person, university or college.

  • 8+ years of product management experience, including 2+ years managing other Product Managers.

  • Experience owning a multi-team product area end to end, ideally spanning search/discovery and detail-page experiences.

  • Experience with consumer-facing, high-traffic search or marketplace products.

  • Strong analytical skills; comfortable setting and tracking KPIs and using experimentation to validate decisions.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership skills.

  • A track record of commitment to prior employers.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience building or shipping products with conversational AI, generative AI, or personalization/ranking systems.

  • Experience in commercial or residential real estate, or other two-sided marketplaces.

  • Experience partnering with a peer product leader who owns an adjacent, complementary customer segment (e.g., supply vs. demand sides of a marketplace).
