Job Description/Preferred Qualifications
Responsibilities
- Responsible for system & sub-system integration, test and characterization.
- Qualify system with regular calibrations, health checks and diagnostics.
- Provide training to field engineers and NPI engineers - Document design, testing and diagnosis procedures.
- Support optics and electro-mechanical systems related escalations.
- Lead Technical Investigation for critical customer escalations, Cross-functional root-cause analysis and system characterization.
- Support NPI activities including engineering builds, beta installations, field qualification, performance validation, and customer pilot deployments.
- Work closely with software, mechanical, applications, and service teams to ensure successful product introduction.
- Hands-on experience within resp. domain and ability to design and setup experiments in Engineering Lab.
- Travelling Internationally and domestically required.
Preferred Qualifications
- BSc or higher in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mechanical, Optics, or related fields with at least 3-5 years of work experience.
- Ability to work effectively with little supervision.
- Effective communicator with good interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record of technical issues resolution.
- Good problem solver who works well as part of a focused team.
- Experience developing or supporting complex optical-mechanical systems or assemblies.
- Experience in optoelectronics, sensor technology, microscopy, optics, or systems design/support.
- Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes, wafer inspection, defect review, lithography, advanced packaging, metrology, or process control is preferred.
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal) are required. Mandarin proficiency is advantageous due to customer and cross-site collaboration requirements.
Minimum Qualifications
Master's Level Degree and 0 years related work experience; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 2 years
