About the role        

As an integral part of our Product team, deeply involved throughout the product development lifecycle, you will be responsible for creating intuitive and engaging user experiences across our range of digital products. 

Working hand-in-hand with Product & Technology, you'll play a pivotal role in leveraging and enriching our design system to ensure a seamless integration of core design elements. 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing a deep understanding of our target market, buyers and users and their customer journeys, how and why they use our products, using core UX activities;
  • Creating relevant interactive designs artifacts: personas, wireframes,  prototypes, and user flows to explore and communicate design concepts and address customer pain points, needs and desire;
  • Developing and evolving mockups to the right level of fidelity (including high-fidelity) using industry-standard tools;
  • In collaboration with the global design team, evolving and expanding our design system to improve the design and development workflow;
  • Conducting and analysing user research to gather insights that inform design decisions (iterate and improve UX);
  • Identifying opportunities for improving UI/UX across products and propose solutions that balance user needs, business goals and technological capabilities.

About you

You're someone who exudes a passion for product and design, thrives on collaboration, and excels in dynamic, fast-paced environments. You possess the experience and skills to bring your designs to fruition and champion a team-oriented approach to problem-solving. You will have a strong understanding of user-centered design principles, UX research, the ability to run workshops and collaborate with cross-functional teams. 

You will also bring:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in product design, UX, and UI design;
  • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or equivalents;
  • Demonstrable experience in building and utilising a Design system;
  • A robust portfolio showcasing your design process and problem-solving prowess;
  • Exceptional communication skills to advocate for product design and represent user interests internally;
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with experience working in agile teams;
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS is a plus, facilitating seamless collaboration between design and technical implementation.

Salary 

The salary range for this role is $110, 000 - $140, 000 per annum + superannuation.
