We are seeking a Product Designer to craft intuitive and efficient product experiences. You will partner with product and engineering teams to deliver high-quality design solutions for well-defined problems, creating and validating designs while considering the secondary consequences of your decisions. WHAT YOU'LL DO:

    Product Design Excellence
    ●      Transform customer and business objectives into compelling products that have purpose, simplicity, and are feasible to build
    ●      Develop multiple solutions for defined challenges across our product suite. You will manage the design process from concept to delivery, ensuring your work is aligned with business goals and maintains a high bar for quality
    ●      Manage the design process for your projects from discovery and concept ideation through flows, wireframes to full-fidelity prototype designs
    ●      Ensure all designs prioritize the needs of non-technical users, focusing on simplicity, speed, and trust

    Collaboration & Communication
    ●      Partner with leadership and product marketing stakeholders to ensure design concepts meet our customers' needs and deliver desired results
    ●      Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product managers, engineers, and other designers in a triad model
    ●      Clearly present your design process, inspiration, and decisions to stakeholders, explaining the “why” behind your work
    ●      Use storytelling techniques to communicate complex design rationale and build alignment across teams
    ●      Share your work in design reviews to explain your decisions, triage feedback, and use it to iterate on your solutions

    Design System & Consistency
    ●      Champion cohesion, consistency, and accessibility by delivering designs that promote our organization's experience strategy and design system usage
    ●      Apply design system standards consistently while contributing to its evolution based on user needs.
    ●      Connect multiple screens into cohesive flows and contribute minor updates to the evolution of the design system based on user needs.
    ●      Across all work apply Jobs-to-be-Done methodology and user-centered design principles, conducting customer interviews and usability tests and translating findings into design iterations.
    ●      Demonstrate a solid understanding of customer needs, core workflows, and key business goals, using this context to make informed design decisions with minimal guidance

    Mentorship & Growth
    ●      Continuously learn new design skills to improve overall design delivery, while building depth in one or two core areas
    ●      Coach team-level peers through their design decisions and share learnings with your immediate peers and the team
    ●      Nurture WorkWave's culture and principles within your team and the broader design practice
    ●      Participate in design critiques, in both presenting and providing constructive feedback that elevates team output
    ●      Stay current with design trends, tools, and methodologies, particularly those relevant to AI-powered products

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

    ●      4 or more years of experience as a user experience/product designer, interaction designer, information architect, or similar role
    ●      Proven experience successfully delivering product design initiatives that improved user outcomes or business metrics
    ●      Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality digital products that delivered results and showcase the depth of your design skills
    ●      Proven experience clearly communicating design decisions and their impact on the customer
    ●      Solid capacity to communicate and present complex problems clearly to diverse audiences
    ●      Deep understanding of user-centered design processes and human-computer interaction principles
    ●      Demonstrated ability to evaluate the customer and business impact of your design decisions
    ●      Proficiency in modern design tools (Figma preferred) and design thinking methodologies
    ●      Proven ability to evaluate the customer and business impact of design decisions using both qualitative and quantitative research methods
    ●      Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or related field, or equivalent professional experience in the design field
    ●      Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and staying current with design trends and best practices

WHAT WOULD ALSO BE AWESOME:

    ●      Experience designing complex workflows for enterprise or SaaS products, particularly in B2B environments
    ●      Background in designing for service industry workflows or field service management
    ●      Experience with enterprise product design or financial services product design
    ●      Previous work on AI-powered features or data-driven product experiences
    ●      Experience working on complex problems at a systems/service level
    ●      Knowledge of Jobs-to-be-Done methodology and service design principles
    ●      Understanding of accessibility standards and inclusive design practices
    ●      Experience with design systems and component-based design approaches
    ●      Experience mentoring junior designers or leading design initiatives
    ●      Background working in cross-functional product teams using agile methodologies
