We are seeking a Product Design Lead to spearhead our design department and shape the future of our platform. This is a pivotal role, as you'll be the first to lead our design strategy at Connecteam. You will manage and mentor a team of designers, collaborating across all departments to drive innovation, streamline processes, and deliver outstanding user experiences on both web and mobile platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of product designers, providing mentorship, guidance, and support.
  • Develop and implement design strategies that align with the company’s business goals and vision.
  • Oversee the entire design lifecycle, from user research and ideation to final visual design and implementation.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Developers, and other key stakeholders to deliver cohesive and impactful product experiences.
  • Drive the continuous improvement of design processes and introduce new methodologies to enhance creativity and efficiency.
  • Maintain and evolve our design systems to ensure a consistent and seamless user experience across all platforms.
  • Promote a design culture that values excellence, attention to detail, and user-centric thinking.
  • Build and scale the design department, establishing processes and best practices to support long-term growth and success.

Requirements:

  • Showcase your design portfolio.
  • Proven experience in a SaaS or Product company—this is essential.
  • At least 5 years of experience in product design, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role managing a team of at least 4 designers.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing your design work—required.
  • Experience in designing complex B2C/SaaS systems on both mobile and web platforms.
  • Expertise in the entire design process, including user research, wireframing, prototyping, visual & interaction design, and usability testing.
  • Strong collaboration skills, with a history of working effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills, open to feedback, and a collaborative mindset.
  • Mastery of Figma and proficiency in Adobe CC and other design tools.
  • Experience with MacOS.
