WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION: 

We are seeking for a details-oriented product data specialist to manage, update and enrich data, while providing basic technology support. In this role, you will be responsible for collating and verifying data from multiple sources, you will assist with implementation of data software storage systems and execute data transfers. You will also be required to train other members on data management procedures and processes. 

To be successful as a product data specialist you should: 

  • be focused and have a good eye for detail 

  • have proven knowledge of data management systems 

  • be comfortable working with large amounts of data in various spreadsheets and databases 

  • have a meticulous approach to information verification 

 

Data management responsibilities are split on the main data types, from content or product data, assets and resources. 

Product data management - the main responsibility would be in creating and administrating product data in our Product Information Management system, based on input from Product Management team:  

  • Import and export data 

  • Product data Translation management 

  • Establishment and management of product taxonomies  

  • Perform regular data integrity and quality audits, to ensure redundancy avoidance 

  • Support global data structure guidelines   

  • Support syndications 

  • Continuous improvement by supporting data enrichment projects 

  • Working closely with global Product Data Team 

  • Create work instructions, regulations, and prioritization rules 

 

Assets management - the main responsibility would be adding different types of assets in the Digital Asset Management system and linking them for proper web display. 

  • Upload images, drawings, graphics, files, videos etc. into the global Digital Asset Management system and fill in all mandatory metadata (title, type, description, keywords, language etc.) 

  • Link asset IDs from Digital Asset Management system to Product Information Management system 

  • Ensure redundancy avoidance  

  • Stick to Digital Asset Management rules and regulations while processing the necessary uploads 

You have: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Engineering or Information Technology or equivalent experience strongly preferred 

  • 5+ year’s marketing experience in a digital environment working in a matrixed organization or agency required 

  • Knowledge and experience in product management, sales and marketing (funnel), e-commerce processes 

  • Demonstrated Project Management skills, ideally Agile Project Management experience 

  • Knowledge and experience working on multiple database platforms (ideally Informatics MDM Product 360, Syndigo, Agility, Catsy, SAP MDM, Pimcore, etc.) 

  • Knowledge of multiple ICT platforms (ERP, CMS) 

  • Basic knowledge of multiple creative tools and software  

  • Excellent MS office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote) 

  • Ability to work independently on projects 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 

  • Experience with end-user training and support 

  • Skills to recognize strategic implications of issues and convert them into proposals and solutions 

  • Strong written and verbal communications skills with the ability to get the point across clearly and concisely and present technical information in easily understood terms 

  • Coordinate work with other groups (other depts. and agencies/contractors, peers) in multiple time zones 

  • Handle multiple demands and competing priorities 

  • Strong process development and documentation skills 

  • Ability to stay current on new technologies and emerging trends in the digital space 

  • Ability to work energetically, positively, and tenaciously with minimal supervision
