In charge of guiding Flex’s sales operations and process improvements to ensure profitable revenue growth. Hold up and work with company board of directors, directors, management, sales representatives, and employees across the entire organization.
Responsibilities:
- Drive the definition of sales processes guidelines, build consensus, and develop adoption.
- Implement tools and processes for the sales organization that focuses on improving efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity.
- Oversee customer service team and work closely with customer service manager as needed.
- Develop and execute strategy for achieving annual sales goal by territory, distribution channel and key accounts, including issuing ranking reports and organizing contests.
- Prospect and identify new business opportunities.
- Work cross-functionally with Marketing and Sales Reps to develop effective sell-in strategies. Contribute to develop and implement sales programs and priorities.
- Formalize reporting process of field perspective research as it relates to future company strategy, product needs and customer feedback.
- Drive executive interactions and conduct alignment workshops with sales guidance (e.g., annual sales meetings).
- Assist in creation of ongoing communication vehicles including newsletters, feedback surveys and recognition programs.
- Travel to Sales Territories and tradeshows as required.
- Deliver timely, accurate and actionable business information to all director’s/management and sales reps on weekly/monthly basis.
- Establish and maintain sales quotas.
- Manage and mentor reps on forecasting process. Be the single point of contact for all ongoing projects.
- Manage the monthly cadence on business reporting and forecasting for the business segments.
- Status and reporting on forecasts. Track, research, and report sales results: both sell-in and sell-through.
- Create sell through research programs and improve acknowledge times to achieve in-season sales goals.
- Be the single point of contact for reporting weekly/monthly on revenue plan to actual.
- Manage rep and vendor contracts.
- Outline department policies/procedures.
Qualifications:
- Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field of equivalent experience.
- Typically requires a minimum of 7 years of sales experience.
- A Master's or MBA degree is preferred.
- Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference to practical situations.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
- Demonstrates mastery of functional knowledge in relation to other functions and a complete comprehension of the function and those of related businesses.
