This position is part of our precision motion control BU and will support all product compliance related topics for robotics and automation. Celera Motion’s precision component and subsystem solutions solve application-specific challenges for technology-driven original equipment manufacturers from a range of markets, including surgical robotics, semiconductors and warehouse automation/humanoids.
Summary
The Product Compliance Specialist, based in Barcelona Spain will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet all regulatory and compliance requirements. The main responsibilities of this role will be to analyze relevant regulations, develop compliance strategies and work with the rest of the teams to ensure our products adhere to industry standards. The ideal candidate will have background in Product Compliance and/or Regulatory Affairs, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
Primary Responsibilities:

Monitor regulatory requirements related to our products.

Stay up to date with changes in regulations and industry standards.

Develop and implement compliance strategies to ensure adherence to regulations.

Collaborate with Product Management in the definition of Regulatory Requirements applicable to NPI.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product Management, R&D, Operations, Quality Assurance) to ensure compliance throughout the product lifecycle.

Participate in regulatory documentation preparation and submittal process as needed.

Serve as the primary contact for relevant authorities.

Provide training and guidance to internal teams on compliance matters.

Address any internal or external compliance request.
Requirements:

Degree in Industrial Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering.

Experience with Electronic circuit technology design and assembly processes.

Knowledge of Product Safety Regulations and Standards, including Machine Directive (2006/42/EC), Low Voltage Directive (LVD) (2014/35/EU), Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Directive (2014/30/EU), Functional Safety (IEC 61508), Functional Safety requirements for power drive systems (IEC 61800), REACH Regulation, RoHS Directive, Prop65, TSCA.
