As a Product Compliance Intern at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and providing product material documentation and environmental compliance information for Micron system level products to Microns external customers. You will work to manage requests, collect and upload related data, and provide information to both internal and external parties. Areas of focus will be evaluating artificial intelligence to augment regulatory lists, evaluate regulatory requirements for applicability to Micron or its customers, compliance risk assessments, and automation. After performing a suitability assessment for each of the above areas the compliance intern will work to develop one topic to a functional tool and develop testing to verify accuracy and completeness of tool output.
Requirements
Be enrolled in a study program for chemistry, chemical engineering, material science, law, computer science, material engineering, mechanical engineering, artificial intelligence, large language modeling, electrical engineering, machine learning, or data mining.
Job description
- Awareness of processes for working in a regulated field preferred
- Ability to work independently on assignments with routine check-ins
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Organized, responsible, resourceful, and detail-oriented
- Able to work in a cross-cultural team environment
- Able to work remotely using MS TEAMS and other collaboration tools
- Experience documenting process and system outcomes
- Understanding of semiconductor composition and/or manufacturing processes
