Job DescriptionTHE ROLE
We’re looking for a Senior Analytics Manager to lead product analytics for the Onboarding Squad at Wise. You’ll join a squad leadership team comprising Product, Engineering, Design and Research, and lead a team of 7 analysts.
The Onboarding Squad owns the website and onboarding flow experiences which all customers go through to start using Wise, the login experience on all platforms which makes it convenient for customers to log in while keeping bad actors out, and brings people and businesses to Wise via our referral programme and SEO.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Ensure accurate, impactful, fast decision making throughout the squad with high quality analysis, raising the bar for a/b testing and helping us to iterate faster. Make accurate datasets and insights widely available for self-serve.
- Lead and develop a team of high performing, happy analysts (individual contributors and managers). Support analyst professional development via performance feedback & coaching; hire and plan capacity; ensure analyst time is spent to maximise impact; increase scalability via automation.
- Partner with Product/Engineering/Design/Research leads to increase impact across the squad. Identify opportunities for customer impact and bring them to life; review team plans and progress, giving them effective feedback.
- Create and communicate a clear picture of progress against the squad’s goals. Ensure that the squad has clear goals, measurable KPIs and narrate our progress and communicate where action is required (whether inside or outside of the squad).
This is an AL2 role. For more information on our Analytics Career Map and levelling structure, click here
QualificationsWhat you'll bring

- Analytical thinker with strong analysis skills (SQL, Python), data modelling (e.g. airflow, dbt) and experience using event data (e.g. Mixpanel, Amplitude).
- Strong experimentation acumen - you know how to get accurate insights with small sample sizes and what to do when a control group isn’t available.
- You can work independently in a fast-paced environment (able to identify impactful projects and evaluate & triage inbound requests).
- Strong stakeholder management skills - you are collaborative, you know how to influence and when to say yes or no to maximise impact.
- Bias to action: you identify what needs to be done and make it happen.
- You have a track record of using data to identify opportunities and making them a reality.
