We are hiring for two critical new roles to lead the Lending Product Analytics team across our portfolio of lending products and Current Account Product Analytics team for Zopa's newest product!

This is an opportunity that can give a lot of scope to supercharge your career within a fast-scaling FinTech with huge ambitions! If this challenge excites you, we'd love to hear from you.

Lending Product Analytics Manager

Reporting into the Director of Central Analytics, this role will lead a team of analysts who will be embedded into Product Tribes across up to four different lending products. Our award-wining Lending products are growing rapidly, with over £2bn in lending balances today. As well as leading the team, this person will also directly support the Credit Cards tribe as an individual contributor to their growth. Current Account Product Analytics Manager

This role will be crucial to helping us get there so there's big opportunity for some serious career defining impact. Reporting into the Director of Central Analytics, this role will lead a small team of analysts who will be embedded in the Current Account Product Tribe. Whilst this individual will lead a small group of analysts, they will also be an individual contributor within the Current Account team supporting to provide truly actionable insights.

  • Defining MI, metrics and measurement frameworks that effectively assess our progress against our product strategies, customer outcomes and business goals
  • Partnering with our data and analytics engineering teams to ensure our datamarts are well structured and will support our long term analytics requirements

About you...

  • You have strong experience working in a Data Analytics role supporting Product teams

  • You can communicate your insights succinctly and clearly, and influence upwards, downwards, and sideways.
  • You are proficient in SQL with experience querying complex data sets –bonus points if you have Python

  • You understand statistical principles and techniques and apply them appropriately, making pragmatic trade-offs between rigour and pace
  • You have an aptitude for people management, with experience coaching more junior analysts. Previous line management is an advantage but not essential
  • You are comfortable with workload prioritisation and make trade-offs that aim to deliver the greatest overall insight when faced with competing tasks and timescales
  • You think long-term about what data we will need to collect and how it will need to be structured to allow us to answer future key questions on the horizon
  • Relevant industry experience and/or prior experience working on a newly launched product would be an advantage but by no means essential

  • Please note: No candidate will meet every single desired qualification. If your experience looks a little different from what we’ve identified and you think you can bring value to the role, we’d love to learn more about you!

What We Do

We’re Zopa, and we want to make money work better for you. Our diverse team is united in their mission of creating simple, fair and honest financial products that have the customer’s needs at their heart. We’re proud that this dedication is reflected in our excellent rating on TrustPilot. We’ve always been unapologetically honest with our customers, and value the same in return. Their feedback helps us shape what we build, so we can provide a bank fit for today, and for the future. We’re not the new kids on the block though - we’ve been a pioneering force in finance for 16 years. In 2005, we built the first ever peer-to-peer (P2P) lending company, giving our customers access to loans built for real-life and intelligent investments backed by cutting-edge tech. In 2020, we launched Zopa Bank, meaning we could offer more – like fixed term savings backed by FSCS protection and a credit card to help customers take control of their finances. We’ve lent out over £6 billion and are proud to have made money work better for over half a million people across the UK, whether they were looking to borrow or save.
