Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-obsessed, mathematically minded junior Data Analyst to own our operational data workflows, performance forecasting, and KPI optimization.
If you get a genuine thrill out of reverse-engineering complex spreadsheets, finding patterns in large sales datasets, and figuring out how to optimize input parameters to achieve the absolute best mathematical outcome, this role is for you. This is a dedicated position focused heavily on data accuracy, routine reporting, and tactical KPI logic.

Role and Responsibilities

Sales Data Analysis & Anomaly Detection:

  • Weekly Data Review: Extract, aggregate, and review large weekly sales datasets to monitor ongoing performance.
  • ​Issue Identification: Perform routine diagnostic analysis to spot trends, anomalies, and operational bottlenecks, flagging actionable insights for the wider business team.
  • ​Report Generation: Maintain and execute standardized daily/weekly/monthly Excel reports to keep stakeholders informed of baseline metrics. Manage end-to-end product lifecycle including forecasting, pricing, channel strategy, positive contribution towards the achievement of key KPIs for assigned category.

KPI Optimization & Mathematical Forecasting

  • ​Evaluation System Management: Own the operational workflow for our performance evaluation and scoring framework.
  • ​Forward Forecasting: Analyze historical performance data to build precise 4-week rolling models.
  • ​System Input Optimization: Work backward from target scoring metrics to determine the exact inputs required to maximize performance evaluation scores (gaming the algorithm for optimal output).
  • ​Model Maintenance: Continuously tweak and maintain logic models to ensure maximum point yield under business evaluation rules.

Operational Support:

  • Provide robust analytical support to senior product and operational leads.
  • ​Ensure 100% data integrity and consistency across all tracking templates and performance systems.
  • Any other Ad Hoc duties and reporting

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, or a related field.
  • 1- 3 years of analytical work experience with advanced Execl proficiency
  • Process-Oriented & Methodical: Thrives in a highly structured environment with repeatable weekly cadences and routine data maintenance.
  • Attention to Detail: High standard for accuracy when dealing with high-volume performance data.
  • Analytical & Reverse-Engineering Mindset: Exceptional comfort with numbers, logic, and working backward from target outputs to calculate ideal input
  • Data Visualization: Ability to present clear tabular summaries and data highlights to non-technical team members
  • Good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Able to strive in a face paced environment
