HB Studios is a driving force in the creation of sports video games and the studio behind PGA TOUR 2K Golf – presently working on Console and PC. We have an opportunity for a Producer to join our team of creators and fans, who are passionate about the art and process involved in video game development.
We are seeking an individual to contribute their skills and dedication to advancing the development of our game franchise. This role will be pivotal in planning, organizing and championing the vision and design of our products, with a focus on excellence.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design process to help ensure that features effectively support product pillars and vision.
- Guide development tasks to ensure features and functionality align with the business strategy and product vision.
- Lead product development cycles and specialize in one or multiple areas.
- Supervise production schedules and budgets to meet performance and quality goals.
- Coordinate resources and collaborate internally and externally to facilitate information flow.
- Influence processes, methods and tools that optimize team performance, including project documentation and testing.
- Develop and enhance relationships with publishers, external partners, contractors and licensors.
- Review and evaluate designs for product concepts and competitive analysis.
- Assist in the coordination, tracking and approval of licensed assets.
- Mentor less experienced members of the team.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
- Typically, a minimum of 2 to 4+ years of experience in production.
- Proficient in collaborating with cross-functional teams, prioritizing content, and delivering 3D Art, 2D Art, Graphic Art, or Animation.
- Knowledge of the game development life cycle, theory and technology.
- Proficient in multimedia and project management tools such as ShotGrid, Jira, Confluence and Excel.
- A problem-solver capable of identifying issues and implementing effective solutions.
- An effective communicator and reliable teammate, capable of working independently when needed.
