We're looking for a Procurement Systems & Tech Specialist to join our Procurement systems and technology team.
About the Role: As a Procurement System and Technology Specialist at Atlassian, you'll play a vital role within our global procurement team. Reporting to the Procurement Systems and Tech Manager, you'll be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our procurement systems and technology landscape. You'll work alongside a team of dedicated professionals to ensure smooth operations and drive continuous improvement in our technology infrastructure.
As a Systems and Tech Specialist within the procurement team, you will collaborate closely with various stakeholders across Atlassian to contribute to the vision for procurement systems and technology. Your role involves working alongside our ACE team to ensure seamless functioning of procurement systems and technology landscape, implementing changes effectively, driving efficiency transformation initiatives and strategies, and enhancing the user and team experience.
Compensation
At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A: $110,500 - $147,400
Zone B: $99,500 - $132,600
Zone C: $91,800 - $122,300
This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.

• Collaborate with the Procurement team to maintain and optimize our procurement technology and systems landscape.
• Implement minor and major changes to existing systems with the collaboration with our ACE/IT team, ensuring minimal disruption to production environments.
• Maintain thorough documentation outlining solution design and architecture for clarity and transparency.
• Evaluate new technologies to enhance the development and implementation of procurement systems, as well as the technology roadmap.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure alignment throughout development and implementation.
• Utilize data insights to inform procurement operations and strategy, facilitating informed decision-making.
• Stay informed about software, cloud services, Artificial Intelligence and technology industry trends, providing expertise and insights to drive strategic initiatives.

• Strong understanding of software, cloud services, and associated business models, with knowledge of technology industry trends.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
• Experience evaluating new software and technologies to ensure alignment with requirements and long-term viability.
• Proficiency in translating business needs into technical requirements and assessing the impact of technology changes.
• Familiarity with data principles and applications, with experience developing data dashboards to drive effective decision-making.
• Passion for understanding Atlassian's products, customers, culture, and business models.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in procurement or technology-related roles.
