VP, Procurement US & LATAM__
Our Procurement Specialist will manage all indirect purchases for our Memphis office which serves as the hub or our US/LATM operations for the Installation Products division. This role will ensure the implementation, maintenance, and compliance of the purchasing and logistics-related activities in the Procurement function to support the business including management of our supplier onboarding process. This is an excellent opportunity to continue your growth as a Procurement and Supply Chaim professional by working closely with business leaders and internal customers to support the needs and priorities of the business while leveraging your experience and technology to continuously improve how we serve the business. The work model for the role is onsite in Memphis, TN (#LI-Onsite).
You will be mainly accountable for:
Executes purchasing and logistics strategies to support the US/ LATM Installation Products business by optimizing costs, quality, and reliability of suppliers and supplied products.
Designs and implements plans and effective strategies for local sourcing of products/materials to reach business targets.
Provide excellent internal customer service by training ABB requestors to generate purchase requisitions within compliance guidelines.
Manager our ELOP supplier onboarding process for US/ LATM Installation Products region including but not limited to new supplier registration, vetting supplier qualifications and accurate data management for suppliers
Supports the Procurement leadership team in implementing effective local sourcing strategies in line with business strategy to meet current and future business requirements.
Qualifications for the role:
BA/BS in Business Management or related field.
2-5 years of procurement or purchasing experience or supply chain management
Proficiency with software applications such as MS-Office (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.), Power BI, SAP Ariba along with strong data management and analytical skills.
A collaborative, solution-focused approach with Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
Solid project management skills with the ability to navigate a fast-paced global organization.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills coupled with track record of project management skills and attention to detail.
Track record of ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.

While base salary is determined by things such as the successful applicant’s qualifications and experience, this position is expected to pay between $XX and $XX annually and is bonus eligible.
