WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Prepare accurate and comprehensive purchase orders, ensuring proper specification of required products or services, necessary quantities, and established delivery deadlines.
- Constantly track delivery dates committed by suppliers, identifying, and proactively managing any deviations or delays in delivery.
- Supervise and manage backlog lines to ensure no interruptions in supply, implementing corrective measures and mitigation strategies, as necessary.
- Develop comprehensive solutions for the efficient use and management of consumables and high-rotation items, optimizing inventories and reducing associated costs.
- Serve as the primary service contact for individuals in the plant, acting as the face of the supply chain service and providing support and assistance in all procurement and sourcing-related matters.
- Collaborate closely with other departments, such as integration, warehouse, sourcing, material planning and logistics, to ensure effective integration of procurement activities with operational processes.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with suppliers, and building strong relationships based on trust and collaboration.
- Conduct periodic analysis of supplier and market performance, identifying improvement and optimization opportunities in the procurement process.
- Stay updated on trends and best practices in the field of supply chain management, continually seeking ways to improve and optimize procurement operations.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or related field.
- Previous experience in similar procurement roles (1-2 years of experience)
- Solid knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and inventory management.
- Advanced interpersonal communication skills, ability to build strong relationships and work effectively in teams.
- Results-oriented and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic and demanding environment.
- Proficiency in computer tools and supply chain management systems.
- Fluency in English
