Designs, builds, and operates secure, scalable platform infrastructure for industrial automation applications. Responsibilities include infrastructure provisioning, CI/CD, GitOps, Kubernetes, cloud and on-prem systems, observability, security, incident readiness, documentation, and on-call support. The role partners with R&D and Operations to improve developer tooling and maintain software-defined automation platforms.

Owns the IMMEX program and customs inventory controls for Guadalajara operations. Responsibilities include VUCEM filings, Annex 24/30/31 management, customs and ERP inventory reconciliation, VAT/IEPS certification compliance, broker documentation review, audit readiness, reporting, and support for import/export activities. The role requires monitoring Mexican foreign trade regulations and coordinating with supply chain, logistics, finance, customs brokers, and external IMMEX providers.

Manages Mexico’s end-to-end payroll process with an external provider, payroll payments, banking transactions, tax filings, month-end close, reconciliations, and inventory accounting. Responsibilities include Mexican tax compliance, payroll provisions, voucher and savings-fund administration, cash-flow reporting, inventory valuation and counts, customs documentation, transfer pricing, audit support, and cross-functional coordination with Finance, HR, Supply Chain, vendors, and advisors.

Support assembly, installation, and deployment of robotic cells and automation equipment. Interpret electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic schematics; perform assembly, troubleshooting, and repairs; create assembly plans and project reports using tools like Gantt, Excel, and Jira; review designs, develop process documentation, manage budgets/forecasts, provide engineering feedback, and travel extensively for on-site customer support.

Design and develop robotic end-of-arm tooling (EOAT), fixtures, and material presentation solutions using SolidWorks. Create 3D models and prints, lead design reviews, source components, assemble robotic cells, support RFQs with sales and system engineers, ensure safety and hazard mitigation, collaborate cross-functionally, and travel 10-20% for deployments.
