Job Summary
The role will actively participate in understanding customers’ requirements and passionately drive internal procurement processes and the global supply chain to exceed internal and external customer expectations. The role will drive strategic initiatives to improve overall efficiency and profitability of Ichor Systems
Key Responsibilities
- For assigned products and programs execute supply chain programs that support delivery, reduce supply risk, reduce costs, and optimize cash flow
- Attend production meetings, represent shortages to internal and external stakeholders.
- Trouble shoots and diagnoses and resolves root causes and corrective actions for misalignments such as, planning errors, unplanned demand, ECO implementation, item attribute and external supply related constraints.
- Maintain DDMRP (Demand Driven MRP) programs such as Kanban and safety stock replenishment contracts inclusive of analyzing and updating quantities, maintaining proper ERP system set up, keeping applicable contractual liabilities and amendments current, mitigating Ichor’s liability, resolving delivery discrepancies, providing forecasts to suppliers, and ensuring suppliers are performing to contractual service levels
- Coordinates with planning and PM OSP schedules
- Understands and can demonstrate, diagram, and measure all value-add activities in a products value chain
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Business or Engineering preferred
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience, preferably in more than one operational discipline
- Experience working in ERP & PLM systems; Oracle, SAP and Agile preferred
- Advanced Excel knowledge
- Ability to learn / understand the supplier’s business and manufacturing processes, technology sourced, and product families
- Ability to concisely communicate escalations, requirements and issues to suppliers, stakeholders, peers, upper management and customers with clarity
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Strong leader, self-motivated, proactive, detail oriented, hands-on and results driven.
- Ability to influence cross functional teams including technical decision makers
- Strong knowledge of all aspects of purchasing, supplier selection, cost analysis and negotiation,
- Work independently in fast paced environment
