So, what’s the role all about?
We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist with expertise in sourcing, negotiating, and managing contracts for marketing, services and facilities related activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of procurement strategies, supplier management, and cost-effective purchasing practices to support the organization's operational needs.
How will you make an impact?
- Manage the end-to-end procurement lifecycle (requisition through delivery) for professional services, facilities, contractor/SOW-based staffing, HR recruiting & placement, learning & development services.
- Operate procurement workflows in Workday (requisitions, POs) and coordinate vendor onboarding requests through ServiceNow.
- Partner with Legal to review and redline vendor agreements, including MSAs, SOWs, DPAs, and IP clauses, and maintain standard templates for the team.
- Track contract renewal windows and termination notice periods; lead competitive re-bids and renewals for facilities and services contracts.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across HR, Facilities, Training, and various business units, supporting offices across the Americas region.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, contracts, and supplier/vendor information, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers/vendors, conduct due diligence, and negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure favourable terms and conditions.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for the managed domains, aligning with organizational goals and budgetary requirements.
- Work closely with the legal team to review contracts, mitigate risks, and ensure contractual compliance and adherence to legal standards.
- Conduct regular supplier/vendor assessments, performance reviews, and resolve any issues or disputes that may arise during the procurement process.
Have you got what it takes?
- Minimum 5 years in procurement or purchasing roles, with hands-on experience across two or more of: professional services, facilities, contractor/staffing, HR placement, or training categories.
- In-depth knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, and supplier/vendor evaluation methodologies.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers/vendors.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Hands-on experience with an ERP requisitions and PO management system. Familiarity with Workday is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) are a plus.
