We are looking for a Procurement Specialistto join our team in UPM Business Hub Poland in Wrocław.

What you will do 

  • Manage the end-to-end procurement process for raw materials and chemicals, ensuring timely availability of materials to support business operations 

  • Monitor procurement pipelines and proactively address issues to support uninterrupted business operations 

  • Coordinate supplier onboarding activities and maintain accurate supplier documentation and records 

  • Ensure contract availability and compliance with UPM policies, internal controls, and legal requirements 

  • Handle supplier and invoice-related claims, working closely with stakeholders to drive effective resolutions 

  • Collaborate with Accounting and business stakeholders to support invoice processing and purchasing-related inquiries 

  • Maintain and optimize buying channels, including catalogs and procurement systems, while identifying continuous improvement opportunities 

  • Prepare reports, deliver user training, participate in cross-functional projects and meetings, and support procurement development initiatives 

 

Who you are 

  • You have experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, finance operations, or a related business area 

  • You have strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships across functions 

  • You are customer-focused and committed to delivering high-quality service and support 

  • You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and can make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment 

  • You are well-organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities while meeting deadlines 

  • You have experience working with SAP  

  • You are proactive in identifying opportunities to improve processes, efficiencies, and ways of working 

  • You have good communication skills in English, both written and spoken; knowledge of German at a communicative level is considered an advantage

Additional information 

This position offers a hybrid working model, combining remote work from home with regular on-site collaboration in Wrocław. 

The position holder will report to Team Leader Procurement and Business Process Support.
