Responsibilities:- Develop and implement category strategy for corporate services to ensure efficient and timely acquisition of goods and services.
- Analyze market trends and conditions to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities.
- Collaborate with the Regional Category Management team to align category strategies and support regional sourcing activities.
- Collaborate with the Global Business Service team on daily operations for purchase requisition fulfillment.
- Act as a valuable link between collaborators (market, HR department, etc.) and suppliers for assessing and choosing suppliers by considering quality, cost, and delivery.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers to secure the best possible terms for the company.
- Contribute to supplier pool optimization and vendor management, improving efficiency and service performance.
- Showcase efficiency expertise and collaborate proactively with the category manager and internal collaborators to reach team efficiency objectives.
- Prepare and present reports on procurement activities, costs, and performance to senior management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Over 5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in corporate services.
- Experience in procuring professional services such as consulting, legal, financial, marketing, and advertising services.
- Proven ability to work under pressure with urgent cases.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Preferred experience with global shared services and cross-regional projects in APAC.
- Proficiency in Japanese and Korean languages is preferred.
- Proficiency in Business Intelligence (BI) tools is preferred.
- Experience with Top 500 foreign companies is preferred.
