WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Lead the development and execution of global category strategies, ensuring effective delivery both locally and internationally.
- Engage with existing and potential suppliers at all levels, maximising commercial value for the business
- Build and manage programs of work that balance cost and service considerations, mitigate risk, and contribute to broader business objectives.
- Conduct financial planning and analysis, developing models and analytical tools to inform procurement strategies.
- Naturally adapt between leading teams and acting as a hands-on project manager, delivering initiatives on schedule while managing risk, resources, and costs. Manage competing priorities and multiple tasks, while proactively and consistently communicating progress and results.
- Evaluate new business ideas, apply analytical judgment, and provide data-driven insights to drive meaningful change. Ensure the team’s work program is effectively governed, accurate, and aligned with financial plans.
- Partner with stakeholders up to and including C-Suite across functions and geographies, navigating a multi-cultural, international environment. Collaborate with internal and external partners to deliver initiatives within budget and established timelines.
- Influence stakeholders with credible arguments and perspectives to achieve better outcomes. Build and manage strong stakeholder relationships, engaging with senior leaders across business units.
- Demonstrate strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and a proactive approach to streamlining processes, researching industry trends, and embedding best practices.
WHO YOU ARE
- Degree level qualification; Master’s degree preferred.
- 7+ years of relevant procurement experience.
- Proven experience managing and developing teams.
- Expert Negotiator with ability to think outside of the box and challenge the status quo
- Strong sourcing, project management, and planning skills.
- Strong business partnering experience with multiple stakeholders fostering outstanding relationships
- Track record of managing deliverables from multiple parties under challenging deadlines.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and able to operate with a high degree of autonomy.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to Farfetch global offices or any external parties if necessary.
