In our pursuit of procurement excellence, we are seeking a Request-to-Pay (R2P) Process Owner to join the Procurement Excellence Team. This role is designed for those who have a passion for procurement and supply chain management and are eager to lead initiatives in R2P process optimization, operational efficiency, digital integration and continuous improvement. As an agent of transformation, you will concentrate on perfecting the purchasing cycle, a crucial part of our end-to-end supply chain. Your insights will be key in simplifying purchasing complexities, ensuring our strategies are not only maintained but also propelled forward with best practices, innovate solutions and efficient execution.

We are looking for a dynamic team player with:
1. procurement proficiency: if you are a procurement professional with experience as a buyer, purchasing coordinator or purchasing manager, complemented with a process improvement mindset, you will find a perfect fit with us.
2. a process improvement mindset: if you are a process improvement champion with prior experience in- or affinity with procurement, supply chain or related business domains, we would love to hear from you.Your responsibilities

  • Develop a procurement improvement roadmap.

  • Optimize purchasing processes through mapping, analysis, monitoring, and training to enhance the performance of key users, procurement teams, and stakeholders.

  • Seek out opportunities for improvement by evaluating business processes, questioning current practices and engaging with stakeholders.

  • Execute strategies to increase purchasing efficiency, shorten lead times and reduce costs in the R2P cycle.

  • Encourage procurement stakeholders to engage in improvement initiatives and lead multidisciplinary groups to realize specific enhancements.

  • Facilitate the integration of process enhancements into change requirements for our digital procurement tool, Ivalua, in collaboration with business analysts and technical experts.

  • Drive change management efforts to ensure seamless adoption of procurement improvements, guiding stakeholders through the transition and fostering an environment receptive to new practices.

  • Establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to track and report on purchasing performance, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with strategic objectives.

  • Outstanding interpersonal abilities: Skilled in engaging with individuals, attentive listening, and effective communication in English. Knowledge of Dutch is a plus.

  • Sharp business insight: Distinguish essential drivers of success from minor details.

  • Analytical thinker: Methodically deduce solutions, confirming hypotheses along the way.

  • Pragmatic executor: Adopt step-by-step improvement, cutting big challenges into actionable pieces. Experience with agile methodologies is a plus.

  • Adaptive learner: Adept at delving into specifics across diverse areas and building knowledge independently.
