Role Summary

The Analyst – Procurement Operations within Everest Group Shared Services is responsible for Sourcing and Procurement metrics, tools, process improvements, and execution of Shared Services - Sourcing and Procurement team’s operational needs. The Shared Services - Sourcing and Procurement team works across many vendors which deliver various products, services, and capabilities for both internal and external use. This role will report to the AVP, Procurement Operations, and support in creating a world class Sourcing and Procurement organization through its processes, analytics, and tools.

This Role Will Focus on Three Key Areas

  • Oracle Support – This role will be the primary contact for Oracle Procurement user support. This will entail creating Oracle Requisitions, Purchase Orders, resolve any issues with POs with Everest business partners (related to receipt, spend categorization, changes to approvers), process change orders, create, and maintain supplier sites in Oracle and participate in any future testing related to Oracle Procurement enhancements.

  • Sourcing and Procurement Processes and Tools – Everest Group plans to launch a new Sourcing and Procurement processes and tools which aim to ensure cost efficiency, aligned objectives and value creation for both internal and external stakeholders. This role will look to execute and support Everest’s Sourcing and Procurement strategy across our third party spend. This may include support in launching new tools/solutions to help Everest unlock incremental value.

  • Spend Analytics – Access to the right metrics and data is critical in the Sourcing and Procurement process. Whether it is tracking progress across our third party spend categories or providing analytics to the Sourcing and Procurement leadership team to develop insights on business decisions, Sourcing and Procurement needs to access and utilize the data to articulate and deliver value to the business.

Key Responsibilities for this Role will Include:

  • Manage various platforms and tools to help the Sourcing and Procurement team deliver on our commitment of cost efficiency and Value Creation (Oracle, PSM, Contracts Database, Analytics for Spend, Vendor performance and Risk metrics).

  • Produce daily / weekly & monthly reporting related to savings, projects, spend, contracts & suppliers.

  • Supporting the AVP, Procurement Operations in providing a best-in-class Sourcing and Procurement process across the Business, including communication, working with Business units, and ensuring Sourcing and Procurement meets the needs and objectives of Everest.

  • Work with Finance, Risk and Technology to ensure proper reporting, tracking and metrics are in place.

  • Support the AVP, Procurement Operations in roll out, communication and training in Sourcing and Procurement processes and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related fields

  • 3+ years of related experience

  • Expert knowledge of Oracle Procurement module

  • Experience of working in Contract management systems

  • Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Visio

  • Experience in Sourcing and Procurement Process Improvement, Value Creation and Supply Chain metrics

  • Knowledge of Procurement fundamentals

  • Ability to drive results with minimum supervision.

  • Proven track record of owning and driving results.

  • Excellent relationship management and collaboration skills across various areas of the Business

  • Ability to analyze contracts and optimize third party spend.

  • Financial acumen and analytical skills
