Job Description:
Parsons are seeking a highly experienced Procurement Manager to lead all procurement and supply chain functions for a large-scale airfield/airport development program. This role requires deep expertise in strategic sourcing, vendor management, contract negotiation, procurement governance, and cost optimization for complex aviation or infrastructure projects.
The ideal candidate will have 20+ years of experience, including proven success managing procurement teams and delivering cost-effective sourcing solutions on multi-billion–dollar airfield or airport programs. The Procurement Manager will ensure timely and compliant procurement of goods and services, adherence to budgets, and implementation of best practices to support safe, efficient, and cost-effective project delivery.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Develop, implement, and enforce the overall procurement strategy, policies, procedures, and governance framework for the airport program.
- Ensure procurement processes align with client requirements, project objectives, and organizational standards.
- Establish procurement KPIs, performance metrics, and reporting frameworks to monitor effectiveness and compliance.
- Lead strategic sourcing initiatives to identify, evaluate, and select suppliers and contractors.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, ensuring performance, quality, and timely delivery.
