About the Job:

Manages a small team of procurement associates to deliver optimal vendor/supplier pricing and service to the business. Manages current processes and implements new opportunities to improve quality, delivery time and/or cost. Manages work activities, monitors status of projects, and serves as an escalation point for questions.

In this role you will manage a Sourcing team at SBU Lipa site and focus on the management of BCP/new qualification/saving project, covering direct/indirect material category, be in charge of material supply risk identification/mitigation, procurement performance presentation, NPD following up, the management of customer targets & delivery expectation.

  • Manage SBU Lipa procurement-related activities and be in charge of site level both direct material and indirect material category procurement activities.

  • Leading and developing the local team of procurement professionals to ensure the development and delivery of material supply priorities aligned to the business objectives.

  • Follow up SBU Lipa NPD (New Transfer Project) with internal stakeholders (cross-site or cross-BU) and ensure sampling material on-time delivery, new supplier sourcing/selection/price negotiation/creation in the system, etc.

  • Providing a regular overview of all the procurement project status updates to the site-level management team/Asia Region Sourcing Manager, SBU/SBU Global Sourcing Sr. Director

  • Building effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure engagement and alignment with sourcing strategies.

  • Work with the Quality, Planning, Engineering, and Operation team to build and develop BCP to support business and continuous cost saving, like, new qualification plan, short-term (saving pipeline this year) and long-term (strategic sourcing roadmap 3~5 year)

  • Responsible for improving the working efficiencies, ensuring total compliance, and follow procurement/company policy during daily working.

  • Ensuring the sourcing team members are well-trained and developed to a high standard.

Additional Requirements:

There will be a requirement to be available to travel for supplier visits. Overtime for Teams meeting may be required to meet customer deadlines, you may be required to perform other duties as necessary.

About You:

  • Bachelor's degree graduate
  • At least 10 ~ 15 years procurement experience. Working in Semiconductor industry is preferred.
  • Significant people management experience
  • Working knowledge of stamping/chemical/metal part material global sourcing is preferred.
  • Advanced level Excel/PowerPoint. Good presentation skill is essential.
  • It is essential that the successful candidate has experience of working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
  • Effective leadership, interpersonal, listening and communication skills.
  • High level planning & project management skills
  • The ability to find ways of solving or pre-empting problems.
