Main Purpose:
- Tube & Decoration accounts for more than 12% of total Vietnam & Thailand packaging spend. Decoration is a key format across BGs while Tubes mostly for PC and BW.
- This role will be responsible for supporting the Vietnam & Thailand market buying of Tubes and Décor packaging across all BU (estimated spend of 40+ mil EUR) and helping drive the procurement sourcing agenda connecting it with Global strategy. This role will be based in either Vietnam or Thailand.
- This is a techno-commercial role where the understanding of packaging, supplier landscape, cost models’ analysis will be utmost important to help businesses grow & also stay profitable. Plastic Sustainability & Innovation Trend is also a key element for the role.
Job Description:
- Responsible for procurement sourcing and supply management for 2 key portfolios Tubes, Decoration of Vietnam & Thailand market that come from 14+ key suppliers, with 40+ mE spend and high complexity of specs and AW changes.
- Intensively develop and manage supplier sourcing strategy, value chain study, resilience and compliance and lead all procurement sourcing activities with cross functions.
- Mange Cash & Material Cost. Define and execute sourcing negotiation & tendering and saving projects to deliver the most effective cost to business.
- Leverage benchmarking and negotiation to maintain the price competitiveness and bring the best cost for business.
- Manage Contracting price negotiation and update by quarterly or yearly basis depend on portfolios.
- Manage Price Forecast, provide commentary on portfolio & market movement as well as ensuring the forecast accuracy is a key target.
- Leverage volume and drive harmonize & simplification to maximize value and reduce the complexity.
- Manage sustainability roadmap & cost mitigation for tubes also the key agenda.
- Closely engage with across team to deliver all Innovation projects, provide the best proposal for business case
- Overseeing the suppliers’ performance & Compliance in term of Contract & Capacity & Delivery service & Quality & USQS
- Support the global Big bet projects for the portfolio.
- Big data analytics & reporting is also key requirement to the role.
Key Requirements:
- University degree (pref. Masters)
- At least 5 to 7 years solid experience in Procurement, Sourcing & Supplier Operations
- Good buying, strategic in negotiation and contracting skills
- Expertise in supplier development, preferably in packaging space
- Good understanding of Sustainability, circular economy and processing technologies
- Experience on large-scale project management roles and big data analysis
- Demonstrated and proven leadership capabilities to lead team/project
- Experience of working in matrix organisation structure
- Open minded, proactive and solution oriented to work under complex/high demanding portfolios.
