About the job
You will lead the procurement department in Søborg working for business unit Food Systems, and business unit Circular Separation Technologies. The objective of the position is to ensure competitive supply of materials, and services to our global customer projects, through the right mix of pre-qualified vendors, frame agreements and consolidation of suppliers. You will report to the Global Head of Procurement and Shipping, and your key responsibilities will be:

The functional leadership of the procurement department in Søborg counting 14 procurement professionals.

Ensuring procurement participation in customer project execution from bid phase to final delivery.

Promoting seamless teamwork between procurement and other key functions such as engineering, project management, shipping, assembly workshops & warehouses, and QA/QC.

Ensuring adherence to Alfa Laval policies for supplier compliance and contracting.

Help ensuring effective use of the newly implemented ERP system Dynamics 365.

Collaborate with piers across the globe to ensure effective execution in customer projects.

Participate actively in the global network of procurement departments to ensure knowledge sharing and best practice development.

Building and nurturing professionalism in all aspects in our procurement department.

Defining and supporting staffing and competence building.

Tracking procurement performance through KPIs.
This position is based at our Søborg office in Copenhagen, with an expected travel commitment of approximately 0 - 10 days per year.
What you know
You have an excellent track record in procurement for international industrial projects. We expect you to have commercial university degree and, at least 10 years of experience in procurement for industrial projects as well as minimum 5 years of solid people leadership experience. You have worldclass stakeholder management skills combined with good communication skills.
