The Procurement Manager is responsible for developing and leading procurement activities, establishing standardized purchasing practices, optimizing supplier relationships, and driving cost savings initiatives across the organization. Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies, policies, and purchasing practices that align with organizational goals.
  • Manage supplier relationships, contracts, and performance metrics including pricing, quality, and delivery performance.
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers when existing vendor performance does not meet expectations.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with fleet management organizations and other key vendors.
  • Lead cost savings initiatives and support change management efforts to drive organizational adoption.
  • Partner with business leaders to understand procurement requirements for upcoming projects and operational needs.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate purchasing activities to support business operations.
  • Participate in annual planning and budgeting processes to forecast major expenditures.
  • Track and monitor procurement compliance across locations and business units.
  • Prepare and deliver reports on vendor performance, procurement KPIs, benchmarking activities, and cost analyses.
  • Execute large purchase orders and oversee fulfillment and delivery processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify procurement-related challenges and implement solutions.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Qualifications

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Six (6) or more years of procurement, sourcing, supply chain, or related experience.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships, supplier negotiations, and procurement contracts.
  • Strong understanding of procurement principles, supply chain management, and purchasing processes.
  • Experience supporting multi-location organizations with diverse service offerings.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to build effective relationships and serve as a trusted business partner.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with procurement or purchasing software preferred.
