Join Us at Gloo: Help Us Build the Leading Technology Platform to Serve the Faith Ecosystem.
At Gloo, we believe relationships catalyze growth—and when technology serves relationships, the world can be transformed, one life at a time. We recognize the faith ecosystem is broad and diverse. It includes churches, parachurch ministries and thousands of non-faith based organizations committed to advancing the flourishing of people. Our purpose is simple yet profound: to shape technology as a force for good, so that people can flourish and communities can thrive.. Therefore, our mission is to build the leading technology platform to serve the faith ecosystem.
We are a mission-driven organization, guided by four core principles:
- Shape Technology for Good: Whether it’s AI tools, dashboards, or communication tools, we empower leaders with values-aligned solutions that amplify their missional impact with tools they can trust.
- Serve Those Who Serve: From pastors and donors to network leaders and content creators—we’re passionate about providing technology that helps them do more of what they are called to do.
- Release Collective Strength: We connect the diverse faith ecosystem—churches, parachurch ministries and thousands of non-faith based organizations committed to advancing the flourishing of people—so they can achieve more together than they could alone.
- Enable Ecosystem Trust: Trust is the foundation of a connected faith community. We enable transparency, digital rights management, and simplicity to foster confident collaboration.
We are looking for talented, mission-driven individuals to join our team as we create innovative technology solutions that inspire and empower people to release the passion in every person, including you, to be all they were created to be. If you’re ready to make an impact with your talents and skills toward this purpose, we’d love to hear from you!
The Opportunity:
Gloo’s Procurement Lead owns the vendor and contractor lifecycle, from intake and negotiation through purchase orders, contract execution, renewal and termination. You are the control point for Gloo’s spend, ensuring efficient processing and proper procedures are followed. You make sure every purchase is reviewed for economics, risk and IT ownership before it’s committed. You work closely with Vendor Risk Management, Legal, IT, FP&A and AP, and you train and hold the company to Gloo’s procurement procedures.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Owning vendor lifecycle management for all vendor and contractor agreements from initiation to renewal or termination
- Negotiating strong vendor and SaaS agreements to optimize pricing and cash efficiency by securing Gloo-favorable terms (e.g., payment terms, auto-renewal) and periodically reviewing existing terms and conditions
- Gaining a comprehensive understanding of all service providers, SaaS tools and cloud hosting providers to drive accountability and eliminate duplicate functionality, partnering with IT to ensure SaaS accounts are company-owned, not tied to individuals
- Maintaining and evolving existing procurement workflow in Ramp, including PO review and issuance, vendor database management, contract renewals, and process visibility
- Facilitating vendor contract execution, either through Gloo’s Adobe Sign or a vendor’s document signing platform, and maintaining executed agreements in the contract repository
- Partnering with Vendor Risk Management and Legal to route, prioritize and resolve vendor reviews and contract redlines
- Coordinating with FP&A to understand vendor cost models and identify spending optimization opportunities that support forecasting
- Maintaining Contractor Salesforce Database
- Owning Contractor onboarding and offboarding process, including background checks and system access provisioning
- Fostering strong interdepartmental relationships with all departments, especially Trust and IT for coordinated operations
- Continuously seeking to understand the needs of the company to streamline the procurement process for maximum efficiencies and scalability
- Partnering with internal contract owners to regularly review spending commitments and upcoming renewals
- Tracking partnership and revenue share agreements in Ramp and Salesforce for Accounting
What We’re Looking For:
- BS/BA in a business or legal discipline
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a procurement or contract management position within a technology company
- Skillful negotiator and gifted communicator - you are straightforward and resourceful in pursuit of mutually beneficial vendor agreements
- A strategic thinker and tactical executor – you can plan the path and then make it happen
- Hands-on experience with spend management (Ramp, Concur, Coupa, or similar), ERP (Sage Intacct, Netsuite, etc) and CRM (Salesforce) platforms
- Preference for working knowledge of contract terms and vendor risk / third-party risk processes; comfortable working alongside Legal and Security
- Demonstrated experience designing and implementing scalable systems and processes for planned growth
- Availability to work on-site at the Boulder HQ office at least 3 days per week
