About the position
We have an excellent opportunity available for an experienced Procurement and Finance Controller (Supply Chain) to make a difference at Kraft Heinz. The position lies within the Financial Controlling team. You'll be working in a high performing team, alongside peers, always trying to reach the next level. Get ready for a lot of exposure to internal senior stakeholders. You're constantly looking for improvement activities within Financial Controlling.
In brief, you have the following responsibilities:
- Perform month-close process/routines for Procurement.
- Run P&L reconciliation and checks on a daily/weekly basis to ensure accuracy of the financial results and that required actions are taken to correct any errors.
- Manage provisions/ accruals process and intercompany recharges related to Procurement.
- Lead monthly routines with the Procurement and Accounting teams to review the Balance Sheet positions and ensure accurate tracking and reconciliation of the Procurement rebates.
- Run hedge process with US (e.g., Plastic resins and Fuel) and lead the hedge process that is performed locally in Europe. Also keep track of the hedges.
- Run monthly routine with the FP&A team to review the provisions and manual adjustments included in the financial forecast, essential process for the forecast accuracy of Procurement.
- Business Partner towards the FP&A, GBS and BU Teams. Guiding the accounting treatments and procedures.
- Support Internal & External Auditor requests.
- Preparation of statutory accounts of several legal entities of Supply Chain.
Qualifications
Please kindly note that you need to have an EU Working Permit (Orientation Year Visa not included) in order to proceed for this position.
- Bachelor/Master degree in Accounting / Finance, preferably ACCA/CPA or equivalent;
- Minimum 5 or more years' experience working in a controlling team;
- Big 4 experience is a plus;
- A self-starter and a hands on mentality;
- Able to manage information and to work collaboratively in teams;
- Strong knowledge of Excel and experience with SAP;
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
