Tender & Project Procurement
Prepare and issue RFQs (Request for Quotations).
Evaluate supplier proposals on pricing, technical compliance, planning, QA/HSE and contractual terms.
Lead clarification and negotiation meetings with suppliers.
Finalize contracts in collaboration with project stakeholders.
Supplier & Market Engagement
Monitor supplier performance and capacity.
Identify risks and opportunities in the supply chain.
Share market intelligence and supplier innovations, with a focus on sustainable practices.
Internal Collaboration
Work closely in cross-functional teams with design engineers, contract managers, project engineers, estimators, tender managers, and project managers.
Build strong internal networks across procurement and technical teams.
Process & Compliance
Apply DEME’s procurement policies and methodologies.
Continuously improve procurement processes for better efficiency and results.
Ensure procurement decisions support DEME’s sustainability objectives.
Education: Master’s degree, preferably in Engineering.
Experience: Experience in procurement within civil engineering projects is a strong asset.
Languages: Fluent in Dutch and English (spoken and written).
Strong analytical and commercial mindset.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Strategic and cross-functional thinking.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in Excel and procurement tools.
Mobility: Willingness to work from both the Zwijndrecht (BE) and Dordrecht (NL) offices, with occasional travel abroad.
