This role is based in Mogalakwena North Concentrator, Mokopane, Limpopo.
Job Description- Reacting to abnormal activities and notification of such to the line manager
- Support team members if they require assistance
- Perform inspections on equipment
- Assist with fault finding and problem analysis
- Follow instructions from supervisors carefully
- Apply effective open two-way communication
- Operate communication equipment
- Carry out basic operational procedures as required/directed
- Assist in breakdowns
- Assist with fault finding and problem analysis
- Reports completed to required standards
- Complete safety inspections
- Maintain good housekeeping
- Adhere to and improved safety standards
- Report on abnormal activities (hazards)
- Participating in safety meetings
- Identify hazards and threats to the process proactively
- Complete data logging and reporting to standard
- Actively engage as a team member in all team processes.
- Ensure compliance with internal and external regulatory, legislative and permitting requirements.
This role is at a Band B2 level reporting to the Evaluation Shift Leader
Qualifications- Grade 12 / NQF 4
- 6 Months Sample Prep Laboratory experience - advantageous
- Must be prepared to work on surface, open pit ‘dusty areas.
- Work in accordance to work schedule of area and could possibly involve working shifts
- Must be a South African Citizen
- No Criminal Record
- Must pass the relevant psychometric assessment
- Must have good written and verbal communication skills in English
- Computer literate
- Valid EB/Code 08 driver’s license
