Job Description:
Position Summary
The Processing Technician & Office Coordinator is responsible for supporting currency processing operations while also providing administrative and office coordination support. This hybrid role ensures accurate processing of currency collections, vault accountability, and ledger balancing, while assisting with reporting, administrative coordination, customer communication, and office support functions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Processing Technician Responsibilities (Part-Time Operational Support)
Prepare and process lockbox cash receipts
Process and verify currency counts while maintaining accurate inventory levels
Perform vault accountability and currency ledger balancing
Count, separate, pack, and unpack currency accurately and efficiently
Strap/unstrap and seal/unseal currency bags in accordance with procedures
Enter cash receipt data, including proper coding and documentation
Research and resolve unidentified cash receipts
Perform daily and monthly bank and cash reconciliations
Assist with weekly cash forecasting
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with internal controls and procedures
Assist with additional processing duties and operational projects as assigned
Office Coordinator Responsibilities (Administrative & Operational Support)
Prepare and maintain operational reports and spreadsheets
Assist with data tracking and reporting using systems such as Mercury and Salesforce
Provide administrative support including data entry, document management, and record maintenance
Answer incoming phone calls and route inquiries appropriately
Assist with intake and coordination of incoming leads and internal requests
Support general office operations to ensure efficient daily workflow
Communicate with internal teams, field personnel, and external partners as needed
Assist leadership with administrative tasks, reporting, and coordination projects
Qualifications:
Minimum of 21 years of age
Minimum of 2 years of cash handling experience in environments such as banking, gaming, retail, or other high-volume cash operations
Minimum of 2 years of office coordination, administrative, or operational support experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook, with the ability to prepare reports and maintain spreadsheets
Experience performing data entry, tracking information, and maintaining accurate records
Experience working with CRM and operational systems such as Salesforce, Mercury, or similar platforms preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with internal teams and external partners
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and workflow
Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in both financial and administrative tasks
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and business needs in a fast-paced environment
Physical Requirements:
Frequently required to stand, sit, walk, talk, and hear
Analyze financial data and calculate figures and amounts
Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity, including use of a keyboard
Continually required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel, or crawl
Continually required to lift/push weights up to 40 pounds
Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
Base Pay Range:
$19.00 per hour
This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. The base salary will depend on a number of factors such as: qualifications, experience level, and skillset.
