Job Description
Position SummaryProvides customer satisfaction through quality related involvement. You will support and meet the objectives and goals of RA Quality Engineering and Harbin plant. Provide training and leadership for Corrective Action Teams and Work Groups. Understand ISO 9001 Quality Systems and requirements. Provide the liaison between Quality Engineering and other functions in support of quality and manufacturing initiatives. This is a self-starter position to include resolution of process/manufacturing issues, data support, corrective & preventative action. Ensure Good Business Ethics through familiarity with policies and procedures relating to standards of business conduct.
Your Responsibilities:- Maintain Quality System processes and procedures to make sure they can meet ISO 9001 and headquarter requirements.
- Manage customer and third-party audits and drive actions to close.
- Provide problem solving (root cause failure analysis) and corrective action services to Operation processes.
- Evaluate & perform "process", "product", and "quality” audits.
- Analyze field return information for areas of quality improvement if needed.
- Create the end-to-end Q&CI strategy for the assigned product lines or processes, lead successful execution.
- Advocates for the customer, drives robustness in design and validation.
- Drives customer issues to resolution with the appropriate urgency, supports or leads communication to the stakeholders.
- Own Operations Quality role in establishing quality plans that encompass quality tools and methodologies during NPI.
- Leads continuous improvement driven by VOP and stakeholder request.
- Develop document to support quality implementation, and accordingly provide training to the team when required.
- BS Degree in Engineering, Management.
- Command of the English Language – oral and written.
- Above five years of working experience in Quality Engineering.
- Proficient with Quality Auditing concepts and processes (ISO9001).
- Understanding of inspection concepts and applications.
- Experience with UL certification will be considered an advantage, especially combined with a strong electrical engineering background
- Knowledge of statistical process control concepts and their application.
- Strong skills in data mining and reporting.
