Job DescriptionDescription

  • Process Improvement – Analyze operations to identify, quantify and prioritize actionable areas of opportunity. Develop business cases (problem definition, establishing baselines, KPIs and financial impacts, etc.) for potential projects.
  • Engage stakeholders cross functionally ensuring alignment and support for projects. Plan / manage national and regional projects.
  • Facilitate process improvement activities and be accountable for driving project and achieving results.
  • Propagate continuous improvement methodology / techniques / mindset across the organization.
  • Business Intelligence – Engage with operations staff to determine business intelligence needs.
  • Design, enhance and maintain reports and tools that enable identification of opportunity areas and facilitate identification of root causes (involves data mining from variety of systems, significant use of database and spreadsheet tools).
  • Assist with training initiatives for operations staff in the use of business intelligence tools. Participate in facility business reviews. Support finance analysts during budgeting and forecasting.

  • Other: : Strong multi-tasking, communication and organizational skills. Ability to work well with all levels of team members with different backgrounds and needs.
  • Experience with supply chain : Advanced proficiency in MS Excel required, experience with other data systems / software strongly desired (MS Access, Sequel Server, Hyperion, Minitab, MS Project, MS SharePoint, etc.)

Years Of Experience

  • 2-5 : • Proficiency with data analysis and basic statistics required (statistical process control, hypothesis testing desired)
  • 2-5 : • Minimum of three years of project management / process improvement experience required, preferably in supply chain environment.
  • 2-5 : • Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Project Management qualification(s) strongly desired
