The primary responsibility of an Item Engineer is the creation, maintenance, and modification of Item information within the ABS application in order to provide consistently accurate information to multiple functional areas within ATI SM in a cost-effective manner. This includes creating and maintaining the product item structure, assessing change requests and impact on the item structure, and maintaining the item master data integrity through the change control process. This position requires extensive use of data analysis.
Essential Functions (other duties may be assigned)
- Review and implement all change requests in Oracle EBS
- Maintain product item structures, review change requests and their impact, and ensure item master data stays accurate through the change control process.
- This position requires interaction with Operations, Quality, Sales, Technology and Cost Accounting.
Education Required
- Bachelor’s degree (Business Administration/ Operations Management)
Experience Required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with ATI is preferred.
- 3+ years of Oracle Master Data and Oracle process knowledge preferably from a manufacturing background

Skills Required
