As a Process Improvement Officer, you will analyze and improve existing operational and reporting processes to increase the department's productivity and efficiency and to offer additional added value to external stakeholders.
The Process Improvement Officer has the following tasks and objectives:
Collect, report, and follow up on incidents related to the use of ICT tools and processes. Assist colleagues in the department with using ICT tools and work together with ICT teams to provide alternative solutions when tools are not functioning correctly.
Identify new operational needs or improvements to existing features, analyze them, and map them out in detail.
Translate the identified needs and improvements into specification documents in collaboration with ICT teams. Monitor developments and test campaigns.
Contribute to the preparation of user documentation and provide input for training materials. Support end users in the implementation of new features.
Participate in post-release evaluation sessions.
Report on the effectiveness of actions taken and new features.
You have a master’s degree and are willing to roll up your sleeves and participate in the day-to-day activities of the teams.
You could describe yourself as a problem solver, with good communication and negotiation skills. You can explain complex processes in an understandable way to various audiences.
You possess excellent analytical skills, with attention to detail.
You speak fluently Dutch, French and English, both written and spoken.
You have excellent IT skills: you are expert at Excel and have knowledge or at least an interest in XML and modeling methodologies. You are familiar with AI concepts and are an experienced user of AI tools.
