(HYMH), a world-class manufacturer of industrial lift trucks, has an outstanding opportunity for an exceptional and talented Process Improvement Lead based at our Craigavon site located in Northern Ireland. This role will require up to 20% travel across our EMEA locations. 
HYMH designs, engineers, manufactures, sells and services a comprehensive line of lift trucks and aftermarket parts marketed globally under the Hyster and Yale brand names. We are one of the global leaders in the Material Handling industry and have been building relationships and partnering with our customers, suppliers, dealers and employees for over 80 years. The Craigavon site recently produced its 500,000th truck.
 

HYMH is on a journey of Continuous Improvement utilizing best practices such as Demand Flow Technology and Lean Six Sigma. The company have made significant impact in optimizing their manufacturing systems. The next stage in the journey is to further develop and optimize the pre-production processes. We are looking for an energetic individual to strengthen our Global Process Improvement team. 
 

The Process Improvement Lead Will Provide the Following Key Accountabilities:
• Deploy overall quality and improvement techniques and concepts to deliver initiatives, with a strong and clear focus on the Voice of the Customer. 
• Manage your assigned project portfolio.
• Serve as a dynamic change agent and facilitator of global business improvement projects.
• Deploy strong influencing and refined facilitation skills.
• Lead cross functional teams to deliver sustained improvement across critical processes as you support leadership in achieving strategic goals.
• Work across functional and organizational boundaries to analyze and solve problems.
• Train and Coach Lean Six Sigma Yellow / Green Belt project teams acting as a cross functional coach and facilitator.
• Develop and coach your assigned coaches from our network of Six Sigma coaches as we strive to develop our problem-solving capability across the business.

The Successful Process Improvement Lead Will Meet the Following Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in the field of Engineering or Business from an accredited college or university
• Minimum 7 – 10 years’ experience in a Process Improvement position with experience of change management within a structured framework. 
• Experience of project management ideally within a PMO environment utilizing dedicated software such as Smartsheet’s or similar.
• Experience leading projects across various business segments and/or leading a process improvement team.
• Strong aptitude and skills to collaborate and influence functional leaders to prioritize and execute selected business improvement projects.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely and to facilitate meetings.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills; statistically literate and well equipped with Six Sigma quality concepts and tools.
• Consideration will be given to experienced Green Belt certified applicants, who if successful would then be sponsored through Black Belt certification.
• Customer focused in defining quality and establishing priorities.


Desirable
• Coaching certification 
• Black Belt certified with supporting project experience.
• Knowledge and understanding of DFT or TOC concepts.
