Overall Purpose of the Job:
Testing and evaluating the processes to locate inefficiencies and make
recommendations for improvements to quality, productivity, safety, and cost.
Responsibilities:
• Time measurement and balancing of production lines.
•Verification of critical operational aspects, bottlenecks and identification and
implementation of corrective solutions
- Continuous improvement of processes for direct productivity
Support in DVT & MVT.
• Participate / Lead in the manufacturing engineering projects in the plants
analyzing product and manufacturing methods.
• Identify solution for the improvement of the existing manufacturing
processes focusing on productivity, labour efficiency and machinery
utilization.
• Responsible for workstation design in assembly, sub-assembly &
technological areas.
• Analyze production capacity by area and keep it up to date.
• Support plants ME in the activities concerning new technologies
introduction managed by the central team.
• Support efficiency and improvement programs concerning product quality,
safety, energy and water consumption and maintenance.
• Design and Develop specification, acquisition, installation and
commissioning of new assembly line, material handling equipment, systems
and related equipment.
• Ensure Equipment, tooling and product quality requirements are met.
• Support and coordinate with Product Development and Industrial Design in
the new product definition phase.
• Ensure Safety on all processes and procedures.
• Issue Work Instructions, SOP, and JDS.
• Lead the PFMEA for the new projects, and keep update at any change.
• Conduct the process training for shop floor operators.
• Ensure Environmental targets and requirements are met.
• Manage implementation of engineering changes on the production line.
• Work within budget and project time plan.
Improve safety and health condition in his area.
Improve Environmental impact & implement Zero landfill waste management
system
Qualifications:
- Education, Skills, Experience required:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering with mechatronics or industrial major preferably.
- 2-4 years of experience in the assembly line, factory layout, material
- handling, industrial equipment, specification and purchasing.
- Very good knowledge of Lean Manufacturing
- Strong communication skills, openness to change, easily adaptable in
- new working environment
- Goal-oriented, self-motivated, good analytical and methodical skills for
- problem solving skills, keen on working in multicultural teams.
- IT knowledge (MS - office is a must, at least a basic knowledge in CAD
- system 2d/3d - CATIA is requested).
- Experience of PFMEA methodology
- Project management skill is required.
- Good English language skills
