Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) seeks a professional, innovative, and detail-oriented individual for our Process Engineering Intern position in Pullman, WA. The ideal candidate for this position will be able to work part time during the school year and full time during the summer. As a Process Engineering Intern, a typical day might include the following:
Implementing, modifying, and documenting assembly processes.
Assisting with project execution, conducting experiments, collecting and reporting results.
Assisting with new processes and new component qualification.
Designing, implementing, and modifying tooling for process improvement.
Providing support to engineering staff and management as needed.
This job might be for you if you:
Are a current student pursuing a degree in an engineering or mathematics field at an accredited institution.
Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills.
Are able to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities.
Are able to work cooperatively in a team environment.
Have experience troubleshooting process machinery problems.
Have experience writing and/or conducting Design of Experiments
Have working knowledge of basic analog and digital electronics
Have working knowledge of electronics industry manufacturing processes and machinery
Are familiar with modern test equipment

Pay Range Data
($19.50 - $32.50 per hour)* Our intern pay is determined based on the internship role (the work you would be doing) and your year in school (when you plan to graduate). Talk to your recruiter if you are curious about the rate for your year in school.
