Responsibilities
Develop, optimize, and scale manufacturing processes for capacitor production, with a focus on coatings, materials integration, and process robustness.
Define end-to-end process flows, including process steps, key parameters, control limits, and acceptance criteria.
Design, write, and execute detailed test plans to evaluate new materials, coatings, and process changes.
Plan and conduct Design of Experiments (DOE) to systematically improve yield, performance, and manufacturability.
Work directly with the capacitor manufacturing team to run experiments, collect data, and implement process improvements on the production line.
Analyze test results, identify root causes, and translate findings into actionable process changes.
Generate clear, thorough documentation, including process specifications, work instructions, test reports, and manufacturing change documentation.
Support the insertion of new or modified processes into the manufacturing line, including qualification, validation, and handoff to production.
Use standard materials and process characterization tools to evaluate materials, coatings, and finished components.
Collaborate closely with materials scientists, manufacturing engineers, and technicians to ensure successful scale-up and production readiness.
