Key Responsibilities:
- Process Optimization: Analyze and refine manufacturing processes for enhanced efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Continuous Improvement: Lead efforts using lean manufacturing and Six Sigma to perpetually elevate our processes.
- Process Monitoring & Control: Implement systems to monitor KPIs, identifying and correcting deviations for sustainment.
- Project Management: Lead and manage cross-functional project teams to ensure timely execution of process improvement projects, from planning through to implementation, while adhering to budget, scope, and timeline constraints.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain precise process documentation and provide regular performance reports.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ensure seamless cooperation across engineering, production, QA, and supply chain teams for process improvements.
Minimum Required Skills / Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Chemical, Industrial, or related field) or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of relevant experience in process engineering within a manufacturing setting (with degree.
- In-depth knowledge of automotive manufacturing process
- Knowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO 9001
- Skilled in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and related optimization methodologies.
- Allen Bradley PLC experience preferred.
- Experience with vision systems.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
