Join LMV (LEGO Manufacturing Vietnam) as a Process Engineer in the NPI team and take ownership of designing and optimizing processes — from new platform introduction through to handover — ensuring quality, productivity, and simplification at every step.

No relocation assistance is offered for this position.

Core Responsibilities
  • React to shop floor escalations linked with processes (Novelties and Equipment) and global sharing.

  • Design new and optimize current production processes related to Quality, Productivity and Simplification aspects.

  • Collect inputs from production regarding new equipment, processes or products and feedback about the feasibility.

  • Support new and current equipment standardization.

  • Test new packaging materials and products based on R&D projects.

  • Act as platform driver for keeping technology standards.

  • Bring and collect inputs towards improving productivity, ergonomics, and working conditions.

  • Lead the team, workshops and meetings to get complex results from tests.

The New Platform Introduction (NPI) department at LMV incorporates the Industrial Engineering team and equipment, process, and project engineers, with a main focus on:

  • Taking in and ramping up new lines and new technologies, including new and unique line installation and handover to production.

  • Upgrading standard platforms, processes, and layouts.

  • Novelty introduction and validation of current production routings.

  • Testing of new materials and dual-source components.

  • Collaboration with other LEGO sites and sharing best practices related to processes and technologies.

In this role, you will be at the heart of the NPI team — responsible for designing new processes from the initial idea all the way through to handover to Production. You will be directly involved in bringing new LEGO products and platforms to life in a real manufacturing environment, with the unique opportunity to make a tangible impact on the quality and efficiency of how LEGO toys are made.

Do You Have What It Takes?
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • A minimum of 4 years of working experience in an process engineering role, ideally within an automated or industrial manufacturing environment.

  • Solid knowledge of quality principles and Lean manufacturing methodologies.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering specifications.

  • Understanding of safety and ergonomic requirements, including familiarity with machine safety directives and workplace safety standards.

  • Strong proficiency in MS Office applications.

  • Strong result orientation, with the ability to drive tasks through to completion in a structured and systematic manner.

  • Collaborative team player with a proactive mindset and strong cross-functional communication skills.

  • Strong oral and written English proficiency.
