Life as an Engineering Intern
The internship program provides each student with real-life hands-on experience, coaching and mentoring, and networking opportunities. When you join our family, you will work on projects that improve your leadership, analytical, and project management skills. Be involved in the design, development, manufacturing and commercialization of new products or product modifications. Cross-functional teamwork provides an opportunity to partner with a variety of people in the organization. - Summer Internship typical term is May to August
- Assignment will be onsite

Key Responsibilities:
- Collect and Analyze data to find opportunities for improvement
- Drive and influence continuous improvement activities in collaboration with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering departments
- Supervise key operational performance indicators and report results versus the established business goals and objectives.
Qualifications
Education:
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Candidate must be actively enrolled in an accredited University for the duration of the internship assignment pursuing a Bachelor’s and/or Master's in mechanical engineering, materials engineering, chemical engineering, or other related field.
- Minimum GPA of 2.8 is required
- Must have completed one year of school by the start of the internship
Experience and Skills:

- Availability to work full-time, 40hrs./week for the duration of the internship is required
- Ability to provide transportation to/from the work location if on-site work is required
- Ability to demonstrate strong analytical and quantitative skills is required
- Excellent communication, presentation skills and leadership skills are preferred
- Ability to balance multiple projects and initiatives while executing results
- Must be a self-starter who works independently while contributing to the team goals
- Proven leadership/participation with campus programs and/or community service activities is desired

Students currently on CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT usually requires future sponsorship for long term employment and do not meet the requirements for this program unless eligible for an alternative long-term status that does not require company sponsorship.
