Responsible for developing, improving, and maintaining manufacturing processes to achieve high productivity, quality, cost efficiency, and safety. The Process Engineer works closely with Production, Quality, Maintenance, R&D, and other functions to optimize processes and support new product introduction.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, establish, and optimize manufacturing processes and work methods.
  • Analyze production processes to improve productivity, quality, cost, and efficiency.
  • Conduct process studies, time studies, capacity analysis, and line balancing.
  • Identify root causes of process problems and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
  • Support new product introduction (NPI), process validation, and production ramp-up.
  • Define and maintain process parameters, work instructions, process standards, and specifications.
  • Improve machine, tooling, fixture, and automation concepts to enhance production performance.
  • Monitor and improve OEE, cycle time, scrap rate, downtime, and process capability.
  • Work with Quality to resolve process-related quality issues and implement continuous improvement.
  • Support production trials, engineering changes, and process modifications.
  • Conduct Lean Manufacturing / Kaizen activities and eliminate waste.
  • Evaluate production capacity and identify opportunities for additional capacity or process improvement.
  • Ensure manufacturing processes comply with company requirements, safety standards, and applicable regulations.
  • Train and provide technical support to production operators and technicians.
  • Prepare technical reports, process documentation, and improvement proposals.

     

Qualifications

Educational Background and Experience.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of practical experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in process engineering or production engineering.

Specific Requirements

  • Experience in manufacturing or process engineering.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, problem-solving tools, and continuous improvement.
  • Knowledge of production equipment, tooling, automation, and manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to analyze production data and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Good communication and cross-functional coordination skills.
  • Good command of spoken and written English.
  • Good computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and/or other 2D/3D CAD software for engineering design and technical drawings.

Skills Required
