Job DescriptionPosition title : Process Engineer
Location : Malang, Indonesia
Targetted starting date : July, 2026
Duration : 24 months
The local technical management wishes to bring support to its teams in process for the development in Fermentation, Drying, compressed yeast, utilities, co product and WWTP.
In the perspective of future investment and plant / process development the VIE will provide as well a support to basic engineering for the future development.
The VIE will report directly to the process manager and will work in close collaboration with the production, utilities and H&S teams. The VIE will be responsible for :
- Monitoring and improving the efficiency of production processes, utilities, and WWTP
- Following up on raw materials, ingredients, and energy consumption, and identifying opportunities to reduce costs without impacting product quality
- Checking semi-finished and finished product analyses to ensure compliance with quality standards and defining corrective actions with the local teams when required
- Monitoring equipment performance to ensure efficient operation
- Updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ensuring their proper application, and adapting them in line with Lesaffre guidelines
- Following up on new projects, including process sizing, review of P&ID, andparticipation in functional analyses
- Supporting Health & Safety standards in daily operations, ensuring compliance with HSE guidelines in coordination with the local H&S management
You hold an engineering degree or a Master’s degree in food engineering, industrial engineering, or a related technical field. An initial experience in an industrial or food production environment would be an advantage.
