Job Responsibilities:**
* Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes for new and existing products, focusing on lean manufacturing principles.
* Conduct process capability studies, root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions for process deviations.
* Develop and maintain process documentation, including P&IDs, flowcharts, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and work instructions.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., R&D, Production, Quality, Maintenance) to facilitate seamless process integration and issue resolution.
* Identify and implement process improvements to reduce waste, improve cycle times, and enhance overall operational efficiency.
* Specify, evaluate, and procure new equipment or modify existing equipment to meet production requirements and process improvements.
* Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to process performance and generate reports for management review.
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and quality management systems (e.g., ISO).
* Provide technical support and training to production staff on new processes and equipment.
* Participate in new product introduction (NPI) activities, ensuring processes are robust and scalable.
Required Skills and Education
Job Qualifications:**
* Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
* 3-5 years of experience in process engineering within a manufacturing environment.
* Proven experience in process optimization, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
* Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen HYSYS, PRO/II) and CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) is a plus.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
* Knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards relevant to manufacturing.
* Experience with statistical process control (SPC) and design of experiments (DOE).
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
