What You'll Be Doing
- Support process improvement initiatives that enhance plant efficiency, reliability, and operational performance.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret process data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams on production optimization projects.
- Assist with troubleshooting process issues and developing practical, data-driven solutions.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and recommendations to communicate project findings and results.
What Are We Looking For
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data, solve problems, and apply engineering principles in a practical environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across teams.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; experience with data analysis tools is a plus.
- Self-motivated, safety-focused, and eager to learn in a fast-paced industrial setting.
Work Environment
- Primarily based at the Giant Resource Recovery (GRR) facility.
- Hands-on experience in an industrial manufacturing environment with both office and plant exposure.
- Requires adherence to all safety procedures and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) when in operational areas.
