Process Development Specialist (BI Developer)

WHAT YOUR NEW JOB WILL BE ABOUT

As a BI Developer, you will play an important role in designing, developing, and maintaining Qlik Sense applications that support logistics processes across all JYSK Distribution Centres. At the same time, you will contribute to the migration and modernisation of existing QlikView solutions, helping transform legacy applications into scalable and maintainable analytics products that create value across multiple levels of the organisation.

Your main responsibility will be to:

• Design, develop, and maintain Qlik Sense applications, dashboards, and data models with a focus on performance, usability, and scalability
• Analyse existing QlikView solutions and support the migration to Qlik Sense in close collaboration with stakeholders from Logistics and IT
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and help modernise legacy reporting and analytics applications
• Develop and optimise data loads, transformations, and scripts, with awareness of data warehouse principles and platforms such as SAP Datasphere, to ensure reliable and efficient data processing
• Build intuitive front-end applications and visualisations that support decision-making and operational follow-up
• Troubleshoot application issues and contribute to continuous improvement
• Stay curious about new technologies and explore how AI can be applied to create value in analytics and business processes
• Help ensure that Qlik Sense applications are maintainable, well-structured, documented, and aligned with best practices

You will be part of an international environment where Qlik Sense supports critical logistics operations and data-driven decision-making. In this role, you will contribute to both the development of new analytics solutions and the migration of existing QlikView applications. In addition, you will support a new project focused on setting up data warehousing in Logistics using SAP Datasphere, helping build a modern BI landscape at JYSK across business and IT functions.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING

Besides relevant experience from a similar BI Developer role, we are looking for a technically strong profile with hands-on experience in developing Qlik Sense solutions and a solid understanding of how to modernise or migrate legacy BI applications. If you bring curiosity, ownership, and collaboration skills, you will find great opportunities in this role.

In addition, you will be described by the below mentioned characteristics:

• Hands-on experience developing Qlik Sense applications, dashboards, and data models
• Solid understanding of data modelling, scripting, and data transformation in Qlik Sense
• Experience with QlikView and an understanding of migration or modernisation from QlikView to Qlik Sense is a strong advantage
• Experience working with SQL, data warehouse concepts, and integrating data from multiple sources
• Knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud is considered an advantage
• Knowledge of SAP Datasphere and data warehousing concepts in SAP environments will be considered a strong advantage
• Ability to understand business processes and translate them into technical analytics solutions
• A structured and quality-focused approach to development, testing, documentation, and solution handover
• Good collaboration skills and the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience from logistics, supply chain, retail, or operational reporting is an advantage
• Good English skills
• Travelling activity  (20 days per year)
